It can sit naturally within arrivals, networking, drinks receptions or dinner. We’ll consider how guests are moving through the space and choose moments that complement food service and your event’s purpose.

Send your date, location, estimated audience size and what you’re planning. A draft running order is useful, but you don’t need a finished programme to get in touch.

We can talk by phone or Zoom at a time that suits you. I’ll recommend a format around your audience and programme, then send a proposal that makes the coverage and fee clear.
3. Confirm the practicalities
Before the event, we’ll agree the relevant introductions, timings and requirements. Where needed, we’ll identify what should be coordinated with your venue or production team.

Yes. Tell me about the format, audience, key people and running order. We’ll discuss the introductions and hosting coverage required, along with any entertainment you want to include.
What is the difference between close-up entertainment and a show?
Close-up magic happens with small groups while the event continues around them. A show brings the whole audience together for a dedicated performance. The best choice depends on whether you want conversation throughout the room or a shared focal point.
Can you combine hosting, close-up magic and a show?
Yes. We’ll choose a combination that works with your timings and audience. Your proposal will confirm what is included, rather than assume every event needs all three.
Will it work for a small private dinner?
A smaller audience can suit close-up magic or a more intimate shared performance. Send the guest count and details of the room, and we’ll discuss what will work comfortably in the space.
What equipment and space will you need?
Requirements vary with the format and venue. Hosting and shows may require suitable sound and a clear performance area; sightlines and background noise matter too. We’ll agree the practical requirements before the event, including what your venue or production team is providing.
How long is a booking?
The coverage is tailored to the job. A reception performance, an after-dinner show and hosting a programme need different arrangements. Share your proposed timings so the quote can reflect what you actually need.
Can the tone suit our company or guest list?
The brief should include the atmosphere you want, the audience profile and any subjects or approaches you would like avoided. We’ll discuss these before agreeing the plan. If you need specific brand messaging or bespoke material, raise that in your enquiry so we can establish what is possible.

Yes. I’m based in Devon and available across the UK. Your quote will take the location and travel involved into account.
